Department of Energy's Plan to Build an Energy Industrial Base

U.S. Department of Energy Wants Americans to Build American Energy Sources

The U.S. Department of Energy just published its first ever plan to build an industrial energy sector that will create millions of good paying, stable jobs for American workers. These jobs will manufacture the components necessary to build lower cost energy alternatives that are better for the environment and our health. It will also relieve supply chain pressure for critical components from foreign manufacturers.

The global clean energy market is expected to grow exponentially in the coming years – reaching at least $23 trillion within the next 8 years alone. The U.S. currently relies on other countries to produce the raw materials necessary to build new age energy alternatives, such as solar and wind. The Biden Administration is actively working to relieve the stress on America’s supply chains and this plan is the Department of Energy’s solution.

It means America’s transition to alternative forms of energy will be built by American made products, thus creating millions of good paying jobs while investing in healthier forms of energy generation.
